WEBSITES AND DIGITAL STOREFRONTS FOR FFL BUSINESSES

Your Online Storefront Should Bring Customers Through the Real One.

Most firearm retailer websites look like outdated inventory spreadsheets. We build clear, mobile-friendly websites that show customers who you are, what you offer, and how to contact or visit you—with a path to your existing online store when you have one.

THE CRITICAL DISTINCTION

Selling Inventory Online Is Not the Same as Marketing Your Store

Plug-and-play distributor catalog feeds give you product listings, but they do not build local authority. When a neighborhood buyer searches for a firearm, training class, or gunsmithing service, an unoptimized catalog feed fails to communicate who you are, when you are open, or why they should walk through your front door.

True storefront marketing bridges the gap between digital browsers and retail foot traffic. It gives local customers a clearer picture of your business, services, and reasons to get in touch.

  • Prominent store hours, live map directions, and contact buttons on every page

  • Clear promotion of high-margin services: transfers, custom gunsmithing, and classes

  • Basic on-page SEO for your location and relevant services

  • Clear links to your existing online category or store

THE TRANSFORMATION

From Online Listing to Digital Storefront

Most firearm websites look like outdated spreadsheet dumps from 2004. We turn your online presence into a clear, mobile-friendly website that helps customers understand your business and take the next step.

WHERE DEALERS LOSE BUSINESS

A Typical FFL Website

Standard template feeds overwhelm visitors with out-of-stock items, confusing transfer forms, and zero local credibility.

  • Cluttered, unfiltered inventory dumps with thousands of out-of-stock items
  • Buried store hours, physical address, and unclear transfer pricing policies
  • Broken mobile view that frustrates buyers searching from their phones
  • Zero authority building: no customer reviews, certifications, or custom services

HIGH-CONVERTING STOREFRONT

The FFL Media Approach

We build clean digital storefronts engineered around trust, clear services, fast transfer bookings, and measurable store visits.

  • Clear presentation of your services and selected products

  • Visible hours, contact options, and directions when applicable

  • Mobile-friendly pages and straightforward navigation

  • Links to your existing catalog and booking tools where appropriate

CLARITY BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Your Questions, Answered

Straight talk on firearm ecommerce integrations, realistic deployment timelines, and how we approach websites, existing systems, and support.

How do you work with Gearfire, AmmoReady, or my existing POS?

We start by reviewing the systems you already use and what you want your website to do. If your current online store is working well, we can build or improve the pages that introduce your business, explain your services, and guide customers to that store. If you’re considering changes to your catalog, checkout, inventory, or POS, we’ll review what your providers support and scope that work separately before promising an integration.

How long does it take to launch a website?

A straightforward website typically takes about 10 business days once we have your content, photos, and access to the accounts needed for the build. We’ll confirm the scope and target launch date before work begins. Rebuilds, custom features, or changes involving an existing online store may take longer, and we’ll discuss those timelines with you first.

Who will I work with on my website?

You’ll work directly with JP on your website. I’ll discuss your goals with you, build the site, share it for your review, and make agreed changes before launch. For projects involving a separate online store or other systems, we’ll identify who is responsible for each part before work begins.

How do you handle payment processing and advertising restrictions for FFL businesses?

We review what you sell, how customers pay, and which systems you already use before recommending a website or checkout setup. If you need online payments for regulated products, your merchant account and payment provider must approve that activity; we confirm what they support before including checkout in a project. For marketing, we focus on useful website content, local search visibility, and communication methods that fit the rules of each platform. We’ll discuss paid advertising or automated messaging only where the specific products and messages are permitted.

Will I own my domain and website content?

Your domain should be registered in your business’s name, and you retain ownership of the content and original branding assets you provide or purchase under our agreement. We’ll explain where your website is hosted and what can be transferred before work begins. If you leave, you can take your domain and available content and data with you. Moving the site to a different website platform may require rebuilding its pages.

Can a new website help customers find and visit my store?

A clear, mobile-friendly website can help local customers see where you are, when you’re open, what you offer, and how to contact or visit you. We build pages around the services you actually provide and set up basic on-page SEO. If you want help with your Google Business Profile or an ongoing local search plan, we can scope that separately. We can’t guarantee search rankings or store visits.

What support is available after launch?

We host your website and help with technical issues that affect the pages we built. Your package includes minor edits for the first 30 days after launch. After that, you can request content changes or new features at our current hourly rate, and we’ll confirm the scope and cost before starting. If you need regular updates, we can discuss a separate ongoing plan.

Have a Specific Question?

Every FFL operates under distinct state regulations, local customer habits, and distributor contracts. Connect directly with JP to review your current catalog setup.
